Jake Orvis is the co-owner and co-founder of First Edition Strategies, a communications firm dedicated to helping organizations craft compelling messages to drive meaningful action. With a versatile background spanning grassroots advocacy, fundraising, strategic communications, crisis communications, and campaign management, Jake brings a wide variety of experiences from the public and private sector to his role. His expertise lies in helping leaders and organizations craft compelling messages, communication plans, and strategies that resonate.

As an Associate at First Edition Strategies, John Lee works with our clients to help them achieve their communication objectives. Prior to working with the firm, John worked in messaging and communications in Washington, DC. He has experience working with elected officials at all levels of government to tailor messages and branding. He has worked for a variety of different clients including businesses, elected officials, and campaigns.
